It is not German. Possibly private purchase American. The star and the P38 on the sheath make me think American. Kirbach might be his name. And I looked at it again and see what I believe to be U. S. sergeant stripes on the sheath. -

Hello, I am interested in this knife, the seller claims it is a WW2 German Pilot knife, but I cannot find another one like it, and to me doesn't seem too German. The Sheath is marked "KIRBACH", and has a plane and a star on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you -

Another group which shows Netherlands Indies service. This set is from an engineer of the Royal Dutch Navy, as can be seen by the ribbon of the officers cross. If you see it, post it in this topic.
