Thanks for the kudos guys. Spielhahnjaeger hit on my sweet spot with his excellent Pol. sleeve eagle post. And... spielhahnjaeger I feel your pain with your lightbox. My computer shot craps and then my new one would not recognize my old digital camera or drivers. So, I am currently down a working camera and relying on old images. Anyway, here is a shot of the bullion eagle on black backing for Fire Department or Panzer Officers. This seems to be a FW (Feuerwehr / Feuerschutzpolizei) insignia since it has visible water damage to the bullion. Also, a shot of the stiff paper template used for embroidering these bullion insignia. -

I can't read the writing on the top strap. Can you write it in the text? Any proof marks? -

Thanks! Still playing around with settings on the lightbox for better pictures. It's dark green backing. PS Nice WHW police figures! I might have one of the Schupo poses you're missing... I'll have to check my stash. -

The writing on the last two documents is the old German handwriting script "Sütterlin". Second document is a tax office certificate, 3rd document is an excerpt of a marriage register. -

They have self shanks so pretty sure they're not WW1 German issue but sometimes the interwar buttons are like this. Can I get some identification on these?
