If it is a 91 Gulf War beret the dark blue is air defense, if the eagle is gold it may be navy. Would need to see the inside of the beret. The stars on the eagle should be vertical and not horizontal. Would also like to see the inside of the helmet and any tags or markings on the shirt.   Scott

I have recently purchased a land army periscope made by the Filotecnica Milano factory. The model number is Ma 7850. It is believed to have been manufactured in 1940 but I am looking for further information on this item as I cannot seem to find much online. I am curious to know if it is ordinarily mounted on something rather than handheld. I am also curious as to who would have deployed it and what campaigns it would have likely been used in?   I have attached some photos for reference.

I can't read it either, but my experimental AI says this: The text on the French postcard discusses news and well-being. It mentions sending news, hoping the recipient is reading them, and mentions being worried. It also references a concert and expresses hope to see the recipient soon, sending greetings to the whole family.

Hello all, new to the group, long time collector. Recently picked this cap up at an estate sale, and I’m having trouble finding its origins. From the research I’ve done, the patch points to ARVN Mike Forces. The matching examples I’ve found are eBay listings indicating S-5 beret patch. Going through the PDF logs online the only insignia I’ve found similar was a blue version with 3 lightning bolts and an upright sword, and the Croatian army anti terrorism beret flash is almost similar. The cap is interesting in itself as it appears to me as non-military flapper cap. Made of corduroy and is insulated, it has “strechomatic” on one of the tags inside. If anyone has any insight it is very much appreciated

I’m sorry, I can’t offer you a translation. But as a dog lover, I think that is a neat card. I hope someone here will help and tell us what it says. mikie

Chein Sanitaire Postcard. 4 1/4" x 3 1/4", probable trimmed. This well worn card says a lot about wartime sentiments. I wonder if a French collector could translate the message?

Hello, gentlemen! I have a question for you. I searched a lot on the Internet but to no avail. Is it possible to buy a set of RCMP uniforms in Canada? At least tell me where to look?
