Recently found on “Flying Tigers Antiques” info found… This is a rare World War II CNAC (Chinese National Aviation Corporation) pilot collar insignia. The insignia was made in China in brass. CNAC was an airline co-owned equally by Pan Am Airlines and the Chinese government. CNAC ran many missions for the The Chinese Air Force's American Volunteer Group (AKA The Flying Tigers) during the war, and many AVG members became CNAC employees after the AVG disbanded. A pair is listed there for $1675….and a single sold…for —? Just saw where one sold on eBay in April 2021 for $500+ -

Hi: I would like to validate that this is a China National Aviation Corporation (C.N.A.C.) pin-back British Empire pin assembly collar pin. This was in a large collection I purchased and I would like to identify this correctly. -

I was chatting with a new acquaintance today, and inevitably I asked about military items. He said, that he had an old German helmet, I asked to see it, sure, come on inside. There it was....DD Kriegsmarine transitional, in beautiful condition, paint, decals, liner, infact the only damage is a torn strap dated 1938. The big issue he doesn't sell anything......nothing. First, I'd like opinions please. Im pretty confident in saying it's original, but it's nice to be sure when you're ready to make a large offer. I would really like to add this helmet to my collection. These are the only pics that I have. Thanks for your input, Paul -

This is a curiosity... An Honor Cross 1914-1918 for non-combatants, made by B.H. L (Bernhard Haarmann, Lüdenscheid). When I applied the slightest pressure with my thumb and index finger, the suspension loop broke off. My understanding is that these medals are stamped from sheet iron, and the suspension loop is integral to the cross (turned/bent by machining), not seperately applied. Repaired? Weakened? Any thoughts? By the way... A good source for hallmarks on these crosses: https://war-relics.com/product/hindenburg-cross-maker-mark-list/ -

Just seen this, a WIKI FANDOM, that has a Alterative Life for OTMA, with Marie she lives to 1995 passing at 96, and gets married to Louis Mountbatten in 1922,Remembering that Louie, who was one year younger then her, had a major crush on her in real life, saying years and years later “I was crackers about Marie, and was determined to marry her. She was absolutely lovely. I keep her photograph in my bedroom — always have. After WWII becomes The Right Honorable The Countess Mountbatten of Burma. Their Wedding -
