This Tank Officer wears some kind of insignia on his helmet, might be a painted on squat version of the tank cap badge. -

Manny, if you had made them white I never would have known about crews painting them yellow. I always enjoy learning something new. mikie -

Hey guys, thank you for your kind comments. Lars, yes the Panzer balkenkreuz's look yellow because the original white crosses were considered prime targets for anti-tank gunners, so the panzer crews colored them yellow. I feel like I should have left them white. Later on they went to the balkenkreuz that we all recognize. Semper Fi. Manny -

Yes, I looked it up some more, and it looks like a m1840 Officers sword. If it goes for the price it is now, I think ill go for the gamble on it. -

A piece marked Germany was made in Germany but for export. That's what that usually means. I'm seeing what looks to be a US Army eagle on the guard and the details on the end of the scabbord could be American as well. Is it issue or something you could buy from a catalog? I couldn't say but it's looking American. And F. Decaro's coming up on Indian War US gear. https://www.ima-usa.com/products/original-u-s-m-1872-light-cavalry-saber-with-nickel-plated-scabbard-by-d-abbate-f-decaro?variant=31994100351045 -

Hello, I found this piece up for auction, and I would like some help with identification. It is labeled “Germany” on it, along with “F. Decaro”. I don’t know if this is a US piece, or foreign, but I hope you guys could help me. Thank you -
