Thank you, it’s a shame on the name, I just want to know who wrote this, as they seem to be decorated, information via the photo. -

The writing on the back is: "Meinem lieben Vater Meinhard zur herzlichen Erinnerung - Februar 1941" (for my dear father Meinhard as a cordial memento - february 1941"). Unfortunately I can´t decipher the name (or place name) written on the front of the postcard. -

Hi Edelweisse, Nice piece of CNAC insignia! And as you've discovered, fairly scarce. Here are a couple of threads on this site regarding CNAC. -

Also, the eagle decal is Army, not Kriegsmarine, which would be yellow. Steve -

Hello, I found this up for auction, and noticed it was signed, but I do not recognize the person in the picture. Do any of you? It would also help very much if some one could help translate the backside of the photo. Thank you. -

It might be a Civilian Conservation Corps hat. The US Army does not number companies they use letters and the British Army abbreviates company Coy. but the CCC did number companies. They also never really had a standard uniform used through out the CCC, there was a lot of variation depending on where and when you were. They finally settled on a forest green uniform just in time to be disbanded. It is something to look into. -

The national shield is not a decal. It is hand painted. -
