Hello everyone,   I’m fairly new to collecting German WW2 militaria and currently building up my collection piece by piece. I’m from Sweden and have been exploring this website for a few weeks now. I'm glad to have found this forum and to learn from others who share the same interest. Great tips and knowledge on here!   My very first piece was the helmet which was found near Leningrad, after that I've added items here and there but recently my interest has flared up again.    I'm leaving you with some photos of part of the collection.    Cheers!

Interesting because it is not a very flattering image of him.

They are fireman’s helmets pre WW2. Here is an example

Color is too bright, in too nice of a condition, and the sweatband looks too modern.   I say tourist pith.

I just found these two Adrian ??? Helmets in a Barrel that was stored for about 40 years I have no experience with these and curious to the country of origin and if Military on either of them.   From my limited knowledge and quick research I have not been able to pin down much info on either. The Only thing close I can find for the Brass one are French Fire Brigade helmets ? BUT really have no idea   The other one Is very Light weight and is covered in a Faux Leather Material you can see were some has worn through on the front bill. Looks to be Belgian, with the Lion buttons BUT cant find any other examples with buttons on the side like this one. Also Curious about the Shield  OR what it represents   Are either of these Military I am leaning towards both being Fire Brigade Helmets Any Info or insight will be Greatly appreciated

Great to know!  I’m also attaching a pic of his cap badge. I think it’s just the general RTAF insignia.

There is no publisher/photographer printing in the back. Just something hand written in German that I cannot read. Then handwritten date 6/6/31.
