Good day, everyone Here's a helmet, that I am in the process of selling on another page, but I thought, that some of you might be interested in looking at it as it is in really good condition IMO :)) I bought it in a tiny antique shop in Munich about 10 years ago, but as my collecting interest shifted, I thought it would be better for someone else to have it, who appreciates it more :)) You are all welcome to post your own Brodie helmets, as I think they are equally interesting to German "Stahlhelme", although often overlooked... So here goes:

Hi :))   This is a lieutenant's tonghab field shirt serving in the 27th Infantry Division. I think the rank insignia above where the name tape should be signifies artillery, but I could be wrong. I have no idea, what the red triangle issupposed to mean... Hope you enjoy and if you have anything to add, feel free to do so :))

A M16 helmet Norway April 1940, division not mentioned, obviously upgraded with the new M1931 liner. Both he and the other M34 crewman have put thin wire around their helmets doing different methods.

Very nice!     I picked up a nice S 84/98 variation the other day.  I love those variations.  Notice the flash guard, the cross guard, and the early scabbard throat.  It came to me with the Regimental Staff Troddel that is interesting in and of itself.

Hoping someone can help me narrow down the date of this cap made from 1945-1968. Made by Muir Cap of Toronto, the badge is beautiful. I think the owner penned “AJ” on the front of the sweatband.

Would you mind telling me a little bit about your time in the service? And in Germany especially? I completely understand if you do not want to talk about it, but I find it very interesting to hear firsthand accounts from US soldiers stationed in Germany as I feel, that the service time spent in Germany is often times overlooked... Again, I totally understand if you do not wish to share your experiences, bit I would be delighted to hear about them Do you and your wife live in Germany or the US?
