Hello, I too have been trying to track down a catalog from that auction. Recently I won at auction the saber that James Murrey Cowell was holding during his last charge and also his painting sponsored by his father John Cowell Stepney after his death. -

I bought this original German M40 helmet and was wondering about the markings on this helmet. The helmet is refurbished I know but wondering about the lot number. Not sure about the number 24664. Seems like a lot of digits. -

I'm sure this is French from the label inside but I haven't been able to find photos of it in use. Has anyone seen this style? It's deceptive in that there is a light hard shell beneath the fabric. More pics
