This is the branch of service insignia for Austrian air force personnel. Gold for officers. Not a pilot qualification or rating badge.

"The enthusiasm which aviation had aroused in all social grades brought together a number of persons who founded, on April 2, 1913, the Aero Club of Chile, which was incorporated July 4 of the same year. The first officers were: President, Don Enrique Phillips; vice president, Alejandro Weber; secretary, Don Armand Venegas; second secretary, Don Armando Fernendez; treasurer, Don Juan A. I have not seen a club wing before from Chile, just their military wings. But based on the construction and the large screws and bakelite backing I would date these to the 1940s.

Michael Caine took over the lead role in the play from Peter O'Toole when O'Toole left to star in Lawrence of Arabia. Once again the inaccurate wardrobe, this time with the Jungle Green Battle Dress, this came out what in 1943 right.

Sarah,   Here is the other sword I mentioned via PM.  It has some incredible history and provenance.  Originally given to a coldstream guard officer Clynton Jolliffe after the siege of Alexandria by the famous Ibrahim Bey one of the two Mameluke leaders of Egypt after that campaign was over.  Jolliffe then gifted it to General Andrew Cowell who was in charge of the regiment at that point,  Andrew then passed it down to his son after he also joined the coldstream guards and John Stepney Cowell carried it through Spain and until he retired in 1832.  Ten years later his son James had it passed down to him as well until his death in 1854.

Rudolf Souval is R.S. Maybe. Here's a pin with an R.S. mark. https://www.emedals.com/products/germany-wehrmacht-general-assault-badge-by-rudolf-souval-g47360   I found this: Rudolf Souval was born in 1819. His workshop was based in Straße der Julikämpfer 23 in Vienna. Souval died in 1899 and the firm was taken over by Mr. Ludwig Umlauf and his wife who continued to produce awards under the Souval name. The company remained active after the end of the Second World War. https://www.medalbook.com/makers/rudolf-souval

sounds iike the big clunky 10x80 AA 10x80 binocs with a four position filter knob.  Gray?  Maybe the KM version still 10x80 but configured differently.  I'd gladly pay a K for a KM pair today 😆 But you know depending on a whole lot, by may not have done badly.  If you get another, please give me a shot at them! Tks, Cheers, Allen
