I went down the Soviet rabbit hole just now. The man holding the standard to his right is Aleksandr Pokryshkin, one of the highest scoring Soviet aces (65). Hidden by Baklanov's elbow is a US Distinguished Service Medal he received . Pokryshkin received three Hero of the Soviet Union medals. -

Detail painting has begun. First washes and decals applied, giving the vehicle a darker but also glossy look. It now needs another layer of matt varnish. -

A Bavarian,has an Ersatz Haube, might be a Tin one no? has also a odd Sawback Bajonett, Bajonett is like that long feather Bajonett right.
