Great find!  Indeed it is a WW II Australian See-thru handle knife.  Sometimes you do get lucky, that's why I love the unmarked stuff.  

Hello all - have had this large piece of fabric since childhood, acquired at some Army-Navy store. It does not glow under blacklight. Is it military? Old hunting camo? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Cap appears to be a World War 1 era item and features an interesting insignia attached.  I did not find any information about the insignia yet.  The cap also has some 'piping' under the sweat band in the interior as shown.  No names nor maker's marks.  Have not identified it "US".  Will post it on USMF for comments also.                 Thoughts, comments or suggested references are appreciated. Rich & Terry thank you! This is my first "Das Werk" model and I´m really impressed by the detail. For sure not easy to build so I wouldn´t recommend it for beginners but a great kit overall. For me the attached booklet was the icing on the cake.

Based on what I am seeing, it looks like a decent uniform with accouterments. Unfortunate the liner was removed but since it is on the inside it won't distract from displaying   Leigh 

Another Officer Tunic of the Robin Hood Rifles early 20th Century, last two digits  of the date was botched we see, it's like 190 something right......1901????

Found this great photo.   A pile of new helmets, just delivered and ready to be issued, some still wrapped in paper we see, and all of them appear to be Square Dips. This being sometime in 1916, probably as late as the late summer early fall of 1916, as this is in the former Russian Poland, the East Front got them later then the in the West as the West got priority of issuance.

Yes, it  certainly wouldn't  be a Post War Vet Piece say from the 50s-60s, because it has the Swastika on it, the Swastika then as now Ist Verboten.
