You have to have so many posts to list items for sale. Simply make a comment on some of the posts here on the forum, and you should have not problems. Dave -

Howdy all... I professionally assist seniors downsizing their home. many times I sign and assist Veterans who have no family. Most of them have war-related items/collectibles that can be sold on Ebay without any issues. However, I just signed a Veteran who has a very extensive collection of military items that spans from WWI to the Korean War. However, a majority of it is scarce German Third Reich Photos, postcards, Military press releases and letters to home & more! And that is what he has showed me thus far. He stated that he was over 5000+ pieces, so we'll see. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I'm going to try and figure out how to do sales in this group. Look forward to chatting with you all... Thanks! Alan -

An absolutely magnificent collection of 1957 issue KVKs including the KVM. Source: https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/kriegsverdienstkreuz-forum/collection-1957-kriegsverdienstkreuz-24605/ -

Not a zinc badge fan for that reason, the possibility of zinc pest. Some of the early war zinc alloys were better, but why deal with it. Granted, there are some badges that were only produced in zinc, so no choice there. -

Copper-oxidation, "verdigris" on a War Merit Medal. This indicates the large amount of copper in the "tombak" alloy. This medal has spent time in storage containing humidity and condendation. Source: https://www.militariazone.com/general-medals/ww2-german-war-merit-kriegsverdienstmedaille-medal/itm54049 Should the collector decide to polish the KVM... Clean off the dried/vestigial "Brasso"! The KVK shows zinc pest... With some of the tombak plating still intact... Normally, most if not all the plating is gone before zinc pest appears, corrodes, and ultimately consumes the medal. Source: https://www.davidduggleby.com/auctions/2106/MilitaryMedals/59264/ -
