Thank you Tittus. Appreciate your input. Dealing with fakes is ubiquitous and has put the brakes on most things. I'll switch gears & starting my search for Type 38 Carbine & take my time looking for a helmet -

What a hoot! Never imagined buying a helmet would be so challenging! My US & German helmets didn't present any such challenges. I was certain I stumbled onto the correct helmet. Obviously I didn't. Kia, is the answer installing a Japanese liner, or is it more involved? Really appreciate your input. Thank you.
